The "Immovable Buddha," Akshobhya transforms ignorance into wisdom. This figure is handmade from cast ceramic at Padmasambhava Buddhist Center, about an hour away from the Monastery. The materials are blessesd by the resident Rinpoche. This is the same figure we use for our Travel Altars.
